File Not Defined
Four Number Formats To Choose From
Keep it bare with 1, label it as Page 1, show the total with 1 / 10, or write it out in full as Page 1 of 10. Whichever you pick, every page follows the same pattern from the first sheet to the last.
Place The Numbers Anywhere On The Page
A nine-point grid drops the number into any corner, along an edge or dead centre. Bottom centre is the default because that is where most readers look for it, and one click moves it elsewhere.
Start Counting From Any Number
Set a start value and the whole run shifts with it, so a chapter that opens on page twelve of a bound report is labelled 12 rather than 1. The count still follows each page's real position in the file.
Choose The Text Size and Colour
Twelve point black suits most documents, but you can scale the digits up for a presentation deck or pick a colour that sits better with the page. A page range keeps the cover and the annexes clean.
Numbered In Your Browser
The numbers are drawn in your browser rather than on a conversion server, and any file you upload is deleted automatically after two hours.
